Was a real treat staying here, this coming from a city dweller who typically books at a Hilton. Room was clean and well maintained, and the staff of what seems to be two people were extremely kind and helpful. Me being one of those weird bath lovers I was beyond satisfied with how deep the tub was. I dont often find ones that fit your whole body in so 5 stars from me.

I needed a last minute room, Erik (the owner) was there to save the day! I got lucky with the last room he had! Thanks again!!

A Charming Gem in the Heart of Grand County I can’t say enough great things about this hotel! From the moment I arrived, I felt truly welcomed—almost like visiting family rather than checking into a hotel. The owner is absolutely awesome, warm, and incredibly attentive. You can tell they take real pride in making guests feel at home. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. It’s rare to find a place that’s both charming and impeccably clean, but this hotel delivers on both. The location in the heart of Grand County is perfect, making it easy to explore the area while having a peaceful, cozy place to come back to. If you’re looking for a stay that’s personal, relaxing, and genuinely delightful, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Great place to rest your head! Aside from being a great value, the place is always clean and the staff always greats you with a warm smile and doesn’t withhold any local knowledge whether it’s a recommendation for a hike, a place to grab a pint or a bite!

My wife and I stayed here while visiting friends in Granby, and this motel was perfect. It's super clean, and the owners (Erik and Mike) were very friendly and helpful and always around if we needed anything - their dog was really fun and friendly too. The motel is in a very convenient location being right off the highway and about four blocks from downtown Granby. Our room had a full kitchen (located in a separate kitchen area from the main room/bedroom). We didn't expected the kitchen to have a full fridge and so much counter space, but that was nice to have. The extra kitchen area also provided extra space to leave our bikes, coolers, snack food, and other items. The motel was quiet and relaxing other than some slight traffic noise in the morning, but that's to be expected given it's a roadside motel. It had air conditioning that worked great and a nice TV. There were also cute flower boxes out front. It's inexpensive yet very clean and nice. We'll definitely stay here again.

The motel mascot licked my face and ate my bacon. She scared away all threats and cuddled my feet when they were chilly. Where it not for this amazing animal I would have been nervous and less at ease. Ryder came right up to me and I scratched her butt and we were fast friends. The proprietor was very helpful and even assisted us with additional needs we have never had cared for at any establishment. Cold beer? Oh yes! We walked to breakfast and the owner even told us where to go for every need we could come up with.

What can I say about Homestead? WHAT A FIND! I have been staying here a couple times per month every winter for many years so I can work at Granby Ranch on the weekends, as well as the off-seasons for fun and pre-season training. I can't imagine staying elsewhere for the quiet, convenience or amazing prices! Making reservations directly is a quick and simple process with clear communications and confirmation and if changes are needed they are addressed without complications. Upon arrival I have always been well-received with friendly conversation and a quick visit by Ryder (who I believe is the real boss). The rooms are always well maintained, quiet, clean, stocked and comfortable AND SMOKE FREE. I have stayed in rooms with and without kitchens which never lack any of the basic needs You can't go wrong staying here any time of year, whether to ski at Granby Ranch, Winter Park or participate in any other year-round outdoor activities with world class lake and fly fishing (and ice fishing), hiking, and Grand Lake and the west entrance for Rocky Mountain National Park only a few short miles away. I can't recommend this place more!

With so many pricey condos and high-end hotels nearby, it’s refreshing to find a place that offers great value without all the unnecessary frills. Our room was clean and included a kitchen with a full-size fridge and stove. While it’s not a gourmet kitchen, it has all the essentials needed to prepare simple meals, which saved us money on dining out. The flat-screen TVs are new and work well. There’s no premium HBO... if you want that you can go pay more elsewhere. The free Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. We visited in the winter, and the new AC and heat pumps kept the room warm and cozy, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. The location is super convenient, within walking distance to local stores and restaurants. Erik, the owner, is fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and always around to make sure guests are comfortable. This isn’t a high-end resort, but that’s exactly what makes it so charming. If you’re looking for a practical, comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring, without the hefty price tag of the upscale condos nearby, Homestead Motel is a great choice. We’ll definitely be back!
